FCI use INTAVISTA's again in new £700 million development!

INTAVISTA's privacy vision panels have once again been chosen to help further the new Francis Crick Institute. This time with their animal research facilities, by providing them with the options for discreet and controlled monitoring of subjects.

INTAVISTA interstitial vison panels were specified by the Institute to enable the discreet, controlled monitoring of subjects without inducing undue distress or alarm.

For animals with nocturnal behaviour, the spectrum of visible light transmitted through the vision panels was regulated with the use of filter films. One example used was the filter RC-3 Rose Chocolate - in this case, a filter film specialised for rodents.

The IntaVista's sealed glass and stainless steel construction was also perfectly suited to the facilities Vaporised Hydrogen Peroxide decontamination regime.

LASERBLOC privacy vision panels provide a "one solution for all!"

LASERBLOC panels are used for the replacement and upgrading of Bedford Hospitals existing privacy vision panels, offering for the first time ever, a solution to laser protection that works with all types of medical laser!

With the upgrading of existing facilities to provide laser surgery, the client required laser-proof privacy vision panels to be installed in to the doors. However, the type or wavelength of laser device could not be predicted, and it was even a possibility for multiple laser devices to be used within the single LCA. (Laser Controlled Area)

With Hygeno’s patented, in-built universal laser shielding system available within all LASERBLOC panels, capable of being able to shield against all types and wavelengths of laser radiation emitted from medical devices, LASERBLOC vision panels were therefore used to provide a long-term, worry-free solution to both the Laser Protection Officer and Infection Control Authority.

IntaVista Laser Blind. The hygienic, flush fitting privacy vision panel with universal laser protection.

The RNOH's recent refurbishment installed with both of Hygeno's FLUSHVIEW and INTAVISTA panels!

A variety of Flush glazed privacy and non-privacy vision panels were supplied in to the recent refurbishment of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, Middlesex, UK.

Specified as part of the ultra-hygienic doorset package used throughout the project, the doorsets also used colour coding to assist with patient flow. Which provided a light, vibrant and clinical environment.

INTAVISTA privacy vision panels confirmed for the Francis Crick Institute!

Hygeno are proud to announce that its innovative range of privacy vision panels have been selected for installation in one of the world's largest biomedical research facilities.

Due to open in 2015, the new Francis Crick Institute is a collaborative project between several leading research institutes to form a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and researchers, all located within one organisation.

It will employ 1,500 members of staff, including 1,250 scientists, and have an operating budget of over £100 million a year. The project required a light-tight, selectively obscurable vision panel system that was resistant to the latest decontamination regimes. The INTAVISTA Flush fit panel will be used throughout, in a combination of NFR, FD30 and FD60 fire rated versions.
